Seems like I did see some re-pops once but I cannot find them now. 71+Charger console is the same. Tweaked is common, mine was that way since I got the car in '75...I used to jack with it to no avail but over the years I've learned a thing or two about how things work so last year I took the the lid apart, glued the broken underside together, straightened out the metal hinge pretty good & patiently adjusted till it looked & worked better than ever.... added a little strip of foam to the contact points to keep it nice & tight.
