Hood Wedges
« on: August 02, 2007 - 09:48:52 PM »
Got a simple question.  I have new black hood wedges that fit near the rear of the hood on the sides of the fenders and they are installed.  What fits in the front of the fenders on both sides in the slot that helps keep the hood off the top edge of the fenders?  I already chipped a little paint. :stomp: :stomp:

up front you would have a push in rubber bumper where that rectangular slot is and just past center you will have a spring loaded wedge that screws down to the flange of the fender. when you look at the side of the hood there will be about a 2 1/2 inch indent. this is where the wedge will land on the hood to help center it when closed.
