I need to send 2 fenders to Dearborn, Mich. any suggestions?

Sucks but I'm in So. Cal and my project is in Dearborn, Michigan and I need to get a pair of fenders to the shop there.  Any suggestions as to the best method or recomended carrier that won't bankrupt me?  By some miracle are any boardmembers heading that way?  Any suggestions appreciated!

Try www.shipgreyhound.com   Have always been the best from what I have seen to have items like this shipped.   Best price, and I don't think forklifts normally touch this stuff.

Greyhound is the way to go, wrap them up good from dings and scratches, otherwise they are pretty good. You will need to drop them off at a big station, Calif has many.

I like to show up at my small local station when the bus is about to leave and help them load my box on the bus.

Sometimes they let it sit there for a while if you don't give them a gentle push

Don't you have to have someone to pick them up at the grayhound station in Michigan??

The consignee must pick up his own freight at the station unless prior arrangements are made.

Sometimes local delivery services will pick it up from the station and deliver it to the door, (not cheaply)

Thanks for the help guys!  I'll give greyhound a call but it still might be a problem if someone has to be there to pick up the fenders when the bus arrives...I'll see what they have to say.

All I can say is, if they have to deliver to your door, even if it's only a few miles, the price goes WAY up.
