Hood Emblems - How are they held in place?

Not sure how the are supposed to be held in place? Anyone know?

If your asking to the callouts as I see them referred to, that go on the side of the scoop, the item is called a barrel nut, 1/8" is the size. I found them at a good local hardware store for about .50 each.
