I have a pair of plum crazy 1971 R/T Challengers. I'm thinking of trading one of them for a FEW CERTAIN CARS ONLY.
This particular Challenger is an original JS23 R/T that originally came with a 383 big block and 4 speed transmision. The car has the correct, un-molested, original dash pad VIN plate which matches the VIN on the title, the fender tag, and YES the build sheet. All body stampings match the build sequence numbers... the car is legit. The car's previous owner had Govier check and decode everything and I have the paperwork along with a repop window sticker. It is an original FC7 plum crazy car with black side R/T stripe. The car has a late April 1971 build date so it's one of the very last plum crazy, big block, Dodge R/T E-bodies. The car was sold new in Colorado and went west after that. It is a VERY solid western car with nice rust free floors, frame, inner fenders, body panels etc. Car never had a vinyl roof so rear window area and roof pillars are mint. Interior is very stock and unmodified. It still has it's original am radio. Seats have the optional cloth inserts and the nice, uncut, door panels have the correct SE carpet at the bottom to match the seats. Both sway bars are still under the car. 8 3/4 sure grip rear with 3.91 gears. It has it's original 4 speed console(nice). Dash pad has typical crack at center speaker. Original 383 is gone, I was told the transmission was #'s matching but I haven't verified yet. Tranny is still in car with bellhousing, pistol grip shifter and linkages. All in all this a nice, solid, original car that has not been modified and has all it's hard to find original parts. Paint is driver/local car show quality. Body is VERY solid with a few small blisters on the quarters. You could drop a big block in the car and drive it right now or get it re-painted and have a drop dead gorgeous street/show car, or go the entire route of a nut and bolt resto. I'm looking for an ORIGINAL 1968 or 1969 R/T Charger. Must be an XS VIN. 4 speed preferred but will consider console auto. I would also consider a 70-71 'Cuda (BS VIN) either in stock condition or street/strip or pro street condition as long as it has a title, VIN, and can be made street legal. Cars must be in similar condition to my R/T, NO MAJOR PROJECTS OR RUST BUCKETS. Engine/transmission is not important or even needed unless it's #'s matching. I would be willing to add some cash for the right car. I have all the bikes, boats, ATV's and other toys that the wifegod allows. I'm only interested in trading on the car described above. My car is NOT up for a CASH sale.
Feel free to send pics of your 'Cuda or 68/69 R/T Charger
Thanks for the ad!

Thanks for the offer.
I know the Barracuda and 'Cuda are basically the same car but I have my heart set on a real 'Cuda.
Yes the Plymouths are extinct and getting harder to find.
I'm going to be very picky about what I trade for as this Challenger is an awesome car and I'll glady keep it if the right car doesn't come along.
Many Mopar folks are expecting the popularity of the older Challengers, especiallythe R/T's, to increase along with their value when the 2008 Challenger hits the streeets :2thumbs:

To add to my ad, If someone wants a running driving car to trade on, I'm planning to install a fresh 440 sixpack engine in  this 71 R/T in near future. This sixpack engine is currently in another street/strip 1973 4 speed Challenger of mine.
The 440 engine is a 1966 model with 45k original miles on it, completey stock and untouched bottom end.
The entire sixpack setup is brand new along with a new MP .528 solid cam.
This engine combo was setup to be very streetable, cool running, and run on pump gas.
I've spent many hours tuning and tinkering with the sixpack setup on this engine and I've got it running just about perfect!
It's first trip to the 1/8 mile track it ran 8.0's with a VERY soft launch, with a little more tuning and a better launch it will be an  easy mid 7 second car,(hopefully mid to low 12's in the 1/4).

Thanks to all for looking and feel free to email comments or questions.

Not too many pictures of the other R/T.
It's an orignal 340 automatic car that currently has a 440 sixpack with slapstick auto tranny in it.
It was totally restored by my father in law back in the 80's and given to my wife as a gift .
Rims are Centerlines, not sure of the width but looks to be 8" or 9"" on the rear probably 7" on the fronts. Tires are biased plies, 225/70-15 on front and 275/60-15 on the rear.
The car was from Arizona originally and has a beautiful, all original, never rusted body.
Sadly my father in law passed away last Jan., the wife isn't real motivted to drive it yet be when she is I'll have it ready.
The 4 speed R/T Challenger listed above is actually better optioned, has better documentation, and I like the 4 speed and big block better and I would keep it over the auto car, BUT... the auto one is sentimental to the wife so it's not going anywhere.

Here's a pic of the auto car.

Lots of purple.
