Back when I was in high school and afterwards I used to go to all the local drag races at Firebird raceway (here in Boise Id.) For years I didnt miss to many races /1975-early 80's/and had bought a 70 challenger SE to make into a race car. Seems like sometime after I got married things changed -stopped going to the drags, car got parked in garage for 20 years,sold the chally ect. Now after getting the car back on the road and catching the gearhead fever again I went back to the drag races this weekend for the Firebird Nightfire Nats. Firebird puts on some pretty big shows for here in the Northwest area. Lots of great cars/great racing. Had the NITRO cars running---the smell and sound of these cars were awsome. Here are some pic.
