New mopar performance cross-ram under 70 rallye hood
« on: August 15, 2007 - 07:54:29 PM »
Has anyone tried putting a new Mopar perf. Hemi cross-ram under a 70 rallye hood on a challenger?? It looks to me to be real tight and I may have to for-go any type of aircleaner element. This would probably be no big deal if I change my oil more often. There would be no advantage to a shaker hood as the carbs are off-set on the cross-ram. Dave

It's way too high. I was thinking that too for my -71 SSP with air grabber hood. Now I have StageV 2x4 inline intake.

In 2 Fast 2 Furious the Challenger had a single holley 4 barrel. I just turned it on to check. Clearnace would definately be tight on that one.
