WOODWARD AVE
« on: August 17, 2007 - 04:34:05 PM »
Going down to Woodward tonight to check the scene before tomorrows big show.  Tonight it's suppose to be clear with a low of 48* and then tomorrow, mostly sunny at 74*.   I have to assume that the show will be a huge success.

I'll look for you Dave.  Thanks for the Info on 13 mile and Woodward. I didn't park in the Kroger lot to get out and look around because we were trying to cruise the entire route.

Mike, you are already trying to get out of next year's Nats.  Start driving that car more! It took me 9-1/2 hours to get here and I was just at Columbus last week-end.

Jim,

My wife isn't into cars, that's why I'm hoping to finish my Cuda because she says that she wont mind driving it whendone.  This cruise is the biggest cruise of my life. It took me 5-1/2 hours to cruise the outside lanes today, only going 4 miles each way.  What a blast!  I'm probably finished cruising for a while now.  I have to save up some money for Christmas and my other cars now.  I also have to spend some more time with my wife if I expect her to be there when I get back.

:2thumbs: Yep Rob, ya got to take care of your sweetie, she ain't happy you won't be either.  :roflsmiley: I feel so lucky to have Pam, she encourages me with our cars and even gives me a little nudge when it come to parts, for instance, we brought home (from the Nats.) a complete dual quad set up for the 440 that will go into the Dart. I had  explained what I'd hope to do, I showed her the set up, started to walk away and she said "Take it home with us". Just got to listen to mamma, hell I even saved nearly $200.00 from the list price.

Now to get her painted, new upholstery, and start the 440 build up, sounds like a fun winter project down at the "barn".  :2thumbs:

Sounds like a nice project. I had 2 Darts in high school after I totalled my first Challenger. A '68 GTS and a '69 3 on the tree, slant 6.   They were my beaters because I knew I always would want a Challenger.  Good luck with your Dart.   http://www.bigblockdart.com/    Has lots of info on 440 darts.
