Storm hits Carlisle
« on: August 28, 2007 - 09:32:14 AM »
My cousin just sent me this link about a bad storm hitting the Vet show at Carlisle. The pics look like there was a lot of damage. Dose anyone know first hand info?

That looks pretty bad.   :walkaway:  I feel for those folks, because even though they are Vette folks, I'm sure  they think as much of their cars as we do our Mopars........       I hope there was enough insurance to cover all that damage.....    :money:     :cooldancing:

Yikes!  That must have really sucked.  As mentioned, hopefully the insurance companies can fish out enough money to repair all those cars.

Wow. I was going to go down there, but had to go to Pgh to replace my daughters laptop for college. Glad didn't go. I hope everyone is ok.

:scared: that was a pretty wicked storm and hate to see any damage to anyones' cars. I know when that storm came through here it was definately one of the worst thunder and lightning storms I have ever seen.
Jeryst, are you going to the Carlisle fall swap? Let me know if you do, maybe we can get a beer or something.

It had to happen at an event with some of the most fragile cars ever built. Those poor Corvettes and their owners. I feel bad for them. :'(

I always try to go to the Fall show, just because it's the "Last Blast" of the year. I usually wind up going on Saturday morning.
