Where and what, 71 Rallye dash for Challenger question

Hey gang..
I've recently installed my friend's rallye dash to his '71 Challenger R/T. I didn't disassemble it, so I'm on a learning curve off the cuff.. You see the long yellow wire? It has a light with mounting tab at the end. The tip of the light is covered with one of those blue light covers. Typically, I've seen these used for the dash lighting  or key light....... Where does this thing route? I thought it was the steering column, but it seems WAY too long... Also, there doesn't seem to be an ignition key light on my friend's steering column... Also, the relay mounting clip on the steering column/brake support bracket, what goes there?
The yellow wire is connected to a 3-plug terminal. Does this go to whatever is supposed to be mounted in the mounting clip?

Found where the yellow wire goes; to the light bar socket pointing to the switch panel on the left dash... Whew.. Now, just the other pic now......
