All mirror spacing for ebodies are the same at 3-1/4".  The mirror that was shown was for a 73-74 bbody which has a 5" spacing, same head different base.  71-72 bbody is the same as ebody.  You were sent the wrong mirror.

Thank you!!  :worshippy

I was trying to say that, but my fingers failed me on the keyboard.   :banghead:

Blew an email to pg about a pair of 70 non remote mirrors in FY1 yellow or in under coat and it will be at least four weeks before they come on sale, just another wait for bits.

Mine does the same thing, it doesn't bother me much because I'd have probably destroyed the adjustment cables on my originals taking them apart to be rechromed anyway. other than this I'm 100% satisfied with them.

I also bought a pair of the 70 chrome mirrors from these folks and am extremely happy with them.  I have not installed them yet, but will be doing so soon.  My Challenger currently does not have a passenger side mirror.  Can anyone tell me where the mounting holes should be placed on the passenger door?  I'm hoping to learn of the location measurements before I get too frustrated and just "wing it".  Thanx
