i bit the bullet 12 or 13 years ago and paid $2000.00 for the original shaker off my challenger.the hood has a slight bow in it and sticks up above the fenders a little bit.i wonder if the new hoods will do the same if they are not as strong as the originals.i know my hood feels sturdy enough and back in the day actually used to sit on it(god forbid)but those days are over now.for the money i really dont see how tou can beat it if you want a shaker set up.my only hope is that the reproduction parts coming out are nice enough so that the real parts we are all trying to buy wont seem to be made of gold anymore.
