Yet another Painless wiring question.
« on: September 02, 2007 - 09:51:06 PM »
On the headlight section, I am wiring up the side markers, turn signals/marker lights in the front. The manual shows:
wire 927 (grn/red) going to the Parking lights
wire 927 (grn/blk) going to the marker lights
wire 925 going to the right front turn signal.
My question is I have one side marker light and one turn signal on each side. How do I hook up these wires so I have running lights and a turn signal? Is there not a marker light up front until you tun on the turn signal? There is only 2 wires on each pig tail and one of those are a ground wire. Any help would be awesome!

You should have.

A pair of front turn signal/parking lights up front. Three wires, ground, parking, and turn.

A fender top turn signal thats grounded through its case, and has a feed off the turn signal wire from the front marker(from the right side)

A pair of side fender parking lights that feed off that parking light wire that goes to the front markers
