I'm just wondering if anyone makes a dress-up kit for rallye gauge clusters and consoles that aren't wood grain. I like the way the black standard gauges look, but I think black rallyes would look the best.

Since the outside of my car is basically going to be all black, I want to carry the motif to the interior as well. :)

couple of ideas from the cheep seats.   Strip the wood-grain from the aluminum dash & paint it ...maybe use translucent black or anodized smoke color.  For the console plate check out the local fabric stores for some vinyl, glue it down & trim along the inner edge with an exacto knife....think I've seen vinyl with a carbon fiber pattern that might look good.

:iagree:
Why not just remove the vinyl from yours and paint it? They have a lot of cool spray paints out there now, that work really well. Maybe a cool black wrinkle finish, or maybe granite or marble finish. The paints are cheap, and they're available at places like Walmat, so you can experiment on some scrap metal. The other benefit of doing this, is that eveything will fit perfectly, and look like it belonds there.

Exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. Thanks! I completely forgot about the thread where those were brought up a few months ago.

Now, anyone know where I can get a carbon fiber pistol grip? I know Harms has some colored and black ones, but no carbon fiber. :(

I got the Carbon Fiber one from Gunslinger at Carlisle.  Nice Piece for sure, maybe it is best to get it at the show.

Tom

They were very nice people as well. :2cents:

These guys? http://www.pistolgrip727.com/

They don't seem to have carbon fiber pistol grips or dash/console treatments.

I also heard in another thread that the CD Ignition guys don't make the dash/console treatments anymore. :(

I saw thouse at Moparfest... man they are nice.  I am just not a fan on the auto pistol grips.

I am going to try painting my shifter handle and see how it holds up. A nice satin plastic paint shoudl do the trick!
