E-body Rear Sway Bar
« on: May 01, 2002 - 10:06:54 PM »
Anyone have a rear sway they want to part with.....you know...the one you keep stubbing your toe on as your wander through the garage at night.  Come on..you don't need it.

I also need the shock and frame mounts....anyone....anyone...Bueller....Bueller....

Any condition as long as its solid.

:clueless: Who pulls parts off a 1 owner 28k bb challenger?   For 350 does it have everything on it/with it to install? Usually they go for around 200/250 complete.

Unless you are dead set on a stock unit, check out PST, Just Suspension, Firm Feel, Hellwig, Hotchkiss. They all offer rear bar kits from $100 to $250 in various sizes and mounting options.

I would stay away from ones that dont mount over the axle.  You have very little clearance otherwise.

So you took off a flawless one to put an NOS one on?    It won't be NOS when bolted up either.  :bricks1:   I'll bet that 28k car looks super as it is

It looks great, had its problems when i got it, torn driver seat, new paint went from sublime lime to silver, leaky rear seal and thats about it. Yeah its a great car, came with a but load of nos parts that the guy collected over the years, he worked dodge dealer ship in the 60's and 70's. He purchase two 70 challys in 69 one hemi rt, and a coupe 383 for his wife. He sold the car for a crazy low price. I bought it back in 2004. But yeah for my first car it is a nice ride.

I have one that I got offebay then a friend lined me up with one. The one for sale has no brackets but they are easy to copy and make. they do have a slight fore and aft taper though to fit the frame snug. Bar has a few pits but is ok. $50CDN / $45 US. Email me if you want it to arrange payment and shipping from Alberta, Canada. It is still packaged from the Egag deal I received it through.
