Guess I like both but the exhaust wins out, by a small margin.  I love the "WHOOOOOOOP" from the carb at WOT but the exhaust sets the demeanor of the car for me.  Lets you know if it's a sleeper or a racer, IMO.

I will have to go with exhaust because you can hear it from a distance and it turns heads.

If your mufflers aren't too obnoxious, then it's the exhaust for me. I like to hear it on the hiway, but I don't want a migrain after 20 minutes either. Can you tell I'm getting old?   :dunno:

Speaking of exhaust my friend came over with his Shelby Cobra Replica last night.  I live on a small residential street with about 5 cars per hour passing by at night.

He let it rip down the street at about 8:30pm.  Boy does 650hp sound wicked loud through unpacked sidepipes!!!  :burnout:

I don't think my neighbors like my friends anymore...  :walkaway:

You only hear the intake soud when you are nailing it. The exhaust noise is what makes a muscle car. Sorry, but IMO, even though the intake soud is cool, the exhaust note wins hands down.
