Choke Plate CFM Difference?

Anyone happen to know if/what the usual difference is on carb flow with and without a choke plate installed?  :cheers:

I'm sorry I don't know the exact CFM, or equasion, but yes there is a difference. That's why racing carbs have no choke plate. I wish I could offer more here.   :walkaway:

Thanks, we'll see next time i take it out i guess. I never noticed my choke plate on my eddie is only held on with two bolts and a couple clips....its now all in a baggy in my tool box. lol

Yes, the choke plate will mess with airflow even when it's wide open. Those of us in the North need that choke though.  :pullinghair: Good luck  :2thumbs:

it makes a lot more difference if the choke horn is remove & the entrance into the venturis is blended but it will definatly improve
