They where alum.1.5 roller rockers,so I tried some 273 adjustables . The shafts are aftermarket for roller rockers from Doug Herbert .I'm  going to check the other side again to see how close they are .None bent there.They {bent side } are centered over the valve stem .

Finally took the head off .Intakes valves  are hitting the pistons . Will have to fly cut ! Anyone done that ? Made a tool will try it tomorrow nite. Only .475 lift but the valves are high in the head {not deep} .                                  :banghead:

Lucky you caught it before it went ba-boom. Did that once in '83 , one of my race engines. I knew I was close but I advance the cam for the snotty weather in the summer. Car did go faster but in the 1st round of class (and I had everyone covered) it went ba-boom (intake hit piston) and that was the end of one of my good engines. Live & Learn the hard way I guess.....
