weatherstripping OOPS!
« on: October 08, 2007 - 08:47:10 AM »
two questions..

first - what takes off weatherstripping adhesive w/o ruining the paint?

2nd - is there any weatherstripping adhesive thyat dries clear.. and not orange or any other color.

I put on the trunk stripping and has orange goo from MANY spots. My first goof on my newly painted project..  Doh.

Try Goo-Gone or WD-40 to try to get it off. They shouldn't harm the paint.

I generally use black glue , at least it blends with the seal
