For what you want, I dont think I'd recommend the heads yet. They are unproven, and issues with them will shut down the project if it's already stretched. I woudl rather have a 505 (.030 over 440 with 4.25 stroke crank) with basic good parts, than go with 1.6 rollers and exotic stuff. With the new 6bbl, you'll need the jet plates for something that large. To be able to properly set it. It doesnt sound like much, but with the plates, jets, and vacuum pod springs, you're adding $250. Then you have ignition, headers, etc. I think I'd go something like this: 4.25 stroke kit w/dished pistons, RPM heads, hydraulic cam in the 245°@.050 range, MP thickwall rocker pkg, 6bbl, MP distributor/box, factory oil pan, water pump housing, Carter fuel pump...Just basic parts that carefully done right, will make 570-600 pound feet of torque and 540hp or so. The machining and correction of the heads should push the budget to around $7K for all new parts.
