New scissor lift
« on: October 07, 2007 - 09:56:33 PM »
I picked up a new lift for my garage and thought I would let everyone check it out. It is from Complete Hydraulic out of franklin, Indiana. It operates on 110 and can lift 6000 lbs. The electric hydralic unit comes with a 2 year warranty and the lift parts come with a 5 year warranty. It can lift 61" with the tall adapters which is higher than I need for me garage. It makes cleaning the under side easy and was just what I needed for me garage. Check out the pictures of it with my Cuda on the lift. Here is the link to there web site.

It looks great, but wouldn't it be a unstable if you go much higher?

No it is not unstable as I have tried to rock it and it does not move at all. It weight is right at 1000 lbs. and it is very solid.

Good to know, thanks.  Also, do you have easy access to change the oil with it lifted?

The front area under the engine is open and makes changing the oil very easy.

The unit was $1,198.00 shipped to a local business with a fork truck to unload it off the truck.

What about if you take it up the full 61"?

I wish I could take it up to 61' but my garage will not let me take the car up that high. At 52' it is very stable so I don't really see a problem with it.
