would G60x15 tires fit on any challenger, or just the T/A?
« on: October 11, 2007 - 05:00:29 PM »
My challenger is not an R/T, but bigger tires on the back would be nice.  Could I just slap them on there, or would they be too wide and stick out?  Would I need different leaf springs?  I hear they used a different style of lip on the body on cars with the bigger tires.  Would they fit on there at all?  Your comments may help me.

This thread is a long read, and unfortunately, most pics were wiped out. At least it might help you with tire size.

Tha T/A and AAR were 1" higher in back for the wider tires due to different leaf springs.

The TA/AAR were higher in the back because of the mixed aspect ratios of the tires.

A G60 tire is the equivilant of a 255/60. This will fit on the back without any special mods at all using 7 or 8 inch rims.

When I have the radials on the car they are 275X60 on the rear. I have 235X60 on the front.
