What a night.
« on: October 13, 2007 - 09:22:01 PM »
The things you see when you don't have your camera.  My brother and I took the Challenger to the New Smyrna Beach, Florida car show.  To my surprise I saw Goody's father's Challenger.  When I say that car is a BEAST, it really is a BEAST.  That thing looks much better in person.  Goody's father was really cool too. I wish I had thought to bring my camera with me but leave it to me to leave something.  Although scarce, there were several nice A, B, and E bodies there.  If any of the members were there please post pictures.  And to Goody's parents great car and it was a pleasure chatting with you all.  Hope to see you at Garlets and the Turkey Rod in November.  Please bring that Challenger.  You guys have got to see this thing if you have not.  :wow: :bananasmi :ylsuper:

Thanks for the picture and the kind words Mr. Goodman.  The builder of my car and a few other Mopar fans will be meeting in Deland and running over to Gartlets.  I don't know if this would be out of your way because I don't know where Eustis is in relation to Deland.  But, if you are interested I will send you Dewey's address.  Dewey has a number of A and B body HEMI cars.  I am sure you will enjoy seeing them.  He will trailer several to the show.   As a matter of fact, he  will most likely bring a gold Hemi Cornet which was purchased from Gartlet.  Likewise, I know for a fact that these guys will love seeing your car as well as your son's car.  These guys are really nice old school guys who love mopars and know alot about them.
