Anyone have 275 55 17's for rear tires?
« on: October 18, 2007 - 02:36:09 PM »
I was thinking of switching to a larger diameter tire. Was wondering if anyone has 275 55 17's which is 28.9" diameter. I have now 285 40 17 that is 26" diameter and the RPM with this tire is like 2900 at 60mph.

i run 295/45/zr18s on my car. 28.5" tall, and i run super stock springs. They would rub the rear part of the wheel wells without those springs on my car,.

I can raise mine back up 1 1/2".I'll check by the rear part of the wheel well.
I was thinking I could fit it in, as a 275 60 15 is 28" and alot of guys are using those.

Welp, i did mention im running 28.5" tires on my car. It depends on back spacing and such on how tall of a tire you posted. With the wrong backspacing just about any tire within reason can, or cannot fit. So we need that information too...
