    It's the Stanley Cup Finals - Sleep loses all importance!  Once the playoffs start, us Wings fans get accustomed to late nights.  (We usually end up with at least one conference series opponent on the West Coast - We were lucky this year). 

    Anyway - tough ending last night (...this morning).  I wish the Wings had kept pressing at the end of the 3rd, so the Pens would have had trouble getting Fleury out of there.  The Wings looked great in the 1st OT, the Pens looked great in the 2nd OT, and they looked about even in the 3rd OT.  Hate to say it, but Malone did a great job of screening Ozzie on that Sykora shot.

    We'll just try it again Wednesday, eh?  Let's Go Red Wings!

    I love the Pens to death, but I have to feel they were outplayed every game so far. Look at the shot total from last night. Something like 58-29.  :dunno:

    They are basically young, and still learning the trade, but they impressed me by not folding after being down 3-2 late in the 3rd last night. Malone and Gonchar are banged up, so I don't know how much fight they have left.  I agree that Fluery has basically kept them in this with his goal tending.

     I just wished these extra inning games were on the weekends, so I wouldn't have to worry about missing sleep.  :lol:

    It was OK that Pittsburgh took one last win...I picked Detroit in 6 and needed that for points

    Osgood has shined throughout the entire playoffs...he MUST be on in the next game

    If they come out and play at the highest level right from the drop of the puck...they are going to be in good shape and it'll be very hard for Pittsburgh to stop them
