Challenger stripe question...

First of all, thanks to all for the warm welcome and your help with my options question.  Can anybody describe what the stripe looks like for a '71 challenger coded with the 'sport stripe V7x' (x being the color). I know that on '70 and '71's V6x is the longditudal R/T stripe, and V5x is the side molding, but what the heck does V7x look like??? Also the car in question is coded V7F which means the stripe is green... any idea what shade or is there some references out there?

I can't help you on what the stripe looked like in 71, but I can help with the color. I have 70 Challenger R/T with the V6F stripe. The color is ledger green. There is a company that was reproducing that color of stripe. I believe they were in Florida, but I can not remember the name of the company. I can try and post some pictures showing the color tonight

Performance Car Graphics list Ledger Paper Green as one of the colors available. I believe the guys from Performance Car Graphics were the ones who sent me a sample of the color when I was in your shoes about 10 years ago. They were not producing that color at the time though. I had to have mine custom made. The attached picture will give you an idea of the color. If need any more help with the color let me know, I may be able to provide a sample of the color.

on a 70,   V7X  stripes are pin stripes.  they follow the body line.
