Trim studs to mount rear window moldings
« on: October 23, 2007 - 01:50:03 PM »
I am in the process of replacing the rear deck filler panel and need to install new trim molding studs.  I know the locations from the old piece but I don't know where to get new ones.  I bought the piece from Goodmark but they don't offer the studs.  Can somebody help?

Thanks

I replaced one with the std screw mounted clip.  It's pretty hard to get the hole drilled down far enough with the glass in.  I've got to take the glass out this winter anyway so I plan on replacing all missing clips with the screw mounted type.

If you know a body shop that has a stud gun for pulling dents it can weld the small window clip studs also.
