    I figure since there is so much talk lately about the 833 OD,  I'd see if anyone knows a good source for info on rebuilding one.  Also parts suppliers.

    The factory service manual is a great source of info for rebuilding them , there are a couple of differences in the OD from the regular 833 , I can get you part#s for every part stilll available from Mopar , & I can walk you through the differences
     I often have parts or Brewers & Passon  have parts too

    Since Brewers is just up the road, I'll probably see what they have both in parts and manuals.  Don't know why I didn't think of them right off.

    Mopar Muscle mag Feb issue has a pretty good article on rebuild of the A833 trans, starting page 36 & w/ pics.  This issue has a green '70 Cuda on front.    Ovmf

    do you know if there is a company that makes pistal grip top plates for a od.

    Top plates?

    Are you referring to the top loading truck tranny ?  If so, I wouldn't go with it.
