Garlet Show
« on: November 03, 2007 - 05:59:16 PM »
I went to the Garlet show today but I had to leave early.  I was dead tired after traveling yesterdey just so I could get back home and not miss this show.  Here are a few pictures for you all.  I hope you enjoy.  There were alot of nice cars there and I met several members as well ;).  Unfortunately for you all I also had my wife, car and three kids in tow so you will mostly see E bodies.  That is not such a bad thing is it?

Hello Dan.  I think it is called a Kodak Easy Share 2165 or something like that.  It is 12mp and I amped it up as much as I could and still be able to post.  But it is not the camera you just have a great looking car.  It makes taking pictures so much easier.  How did you do in the show?  I had to leave because I was dead tired and my kids were too?

I will have to get one of those, the shots are great.  As far as the show, I am always glad when the recognize the young guns, Goody got 1st place in E-body on the first day.:woo:
I am a big fan of stock numbers matching looking mopars, they are great. :2thumbs:

I have come to appreciate the e body modifieds like mine and with the response and comments at the shows me and goody have been too, there is alot of mopar guys who like the look too. It is not for everyone, thats for sure. At big daddy, the judges, who  what I call purists and have no interest in my type of car, so it got overlooked.  :violin:Dont get me wrong, there was some beautiful cars there both days, but when 7 cars are in the e-body modified class, and 6 of them are basically stock with minor modifications, I would of thought I at least had a 3rd place car.  :blah: No bigge though, I had a great time, me and my son had a couple of days together got to run open on the back roads it was pretty cool. We did both go to a cruise in while we were there, got a couple of trophys there, so it was all good. Next up is the turkey run and I just got my Mopar magazine and there is a big Mopar show in Venice Florida, not sure where it is, but it looks like something I would like to go to it is the 1st weekend on Dec.
