Heater Hose Locations
« on: November 14, 2007 - 02:42:50 PM »
Can someone tell me where the heater hoses connect on the firewall for an A/C car.  Both seem to work on each side.  As you face the firewall: 5/8" to the right and 1/2" on the left?

Appreciate it.

On mine, which I replaced a while back myself and know its right because the heater core had a IN & OUT. Its the right side on the intake, thats IN and the water pump takes the OUT or left. Drivers side is left, pass. is right.

If your AC is not working, I would replace the heater core if it looks like its never been changed. A new one works much better and the old one will leak one day. Thats no fun smelling anti-freeze while driving and finding your carpet soak  :bricks1:

I'm not sure if I understand, but I have never been afraid to jump in.  On an AC car, there is indeed to sets of nozzles on the passenger's side of the firewall. The set more towards the middle is for the heater hoses.
