B-Body Question
« on: November 03, 2007 - 04:02:23 PM »
A friend of mine is redoing the interior in his 69 sport satellite and needs to know what color to use on his steering column.  It is going to be black, but he wants to just use a spray can instead of having to get it for a spray gun.  He will also be doing his dash later on.  Does anyone know of a color close to what the factory used?

I do not know the answer to your question, but my second car was a 69 Sport Satellite, and I'd love to see some pics of that car.

I restored the steering column in my 70 Road Runner in 1995 and it still looks like new. I used semi-gloss black Rustoleum right out of the spray can. I think as long as you use a good name brand like Rustoleum, Krylon etc. you'll be fine.
