Alright, I was asked the other day what I wanted for Christmas. As usual I had no idea, I started thinking about it and since I am going to be rebuilding my 727 over the winter months I could use some new snap ring pliers. I have only helped with a coulple of rebuilds on the 727s (luckily those guys will be helping me). Any special tools I should be aware of before I tare down my transmission?  :clueless:

Thanks!

Pliers like these would be nice

I agree with his selection as KD makes a good tool, learned that lesson after I went through 2 cheap harbor freight pliers. I bought this one which is a bit more expensive but has a ratcheting feature that saves your hand and I feel makes it worth it.

This one is handy too if you plan on doing more than just one tranny some day. It works on a lot of different trannies.
