I sold the one I had, so I have no reference, but given the way that hole looks for the track changing knob, I think this might be for real.

The non-8track bezel (which I have in my hand) has these numbers:

2984026
74086-B

I can't make out the numbers on yours. When I have more time I'll look through my parts book.

Well I looked in my parts books and none of the numbers it has for that "panel" look anywhere near the numbers that are actually on it. In the descriptions it does refer to them as, w/o AM stereo, w/AM stereo...etc,etc,etc. I gotta agree with Mike though, that hole looks factory.

I sold an 8-track bezel and the part #2984047.It also had this #74086-B stamped above the part#. But it was burnt orange , I don't know if this would be a different # then black. :dunno:
