My duster used to toss the belt regularly while racing it at up to 7200 rpm , I used an idler to keep the belt on , there are companies that make custom pulleys so it would be no problem to get them , the big issue is the crank & water pump pulley almost touch now with stock pulleys so the pulley would have to be wider to accomadate the extra depth of the groove
What kind of valve train did you have that allowed revving over 7000 rpm?
