Seems like a smoking deal to me.  Is that 1598 US?   You can hardly get a GM crate engine, for under 1700.00 here, and that is a 290HP 350

I would say that's a come-on price...not gonna be what you want & probably impossible to purchase at that price not to mention shipping. Your local shop can probably handle for no more real cost & be there for you when things go wrong. Think more like $4K for a rebuild +$+$+$ for replacement items & upgrades.    :2cents:

I'd check 440source.com
72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

First, it's says core availability and prices will vary. Second, what's shown is bone stock. Nothing upgraded. I dont think it's worth it.
