window trim removal

 how do i remove the chrome trim without damaging it on the front and rear windows. this trim has never been off and is in great shape so i dont want to ding it up any, any tricks to getting it out.

also if someone has one out and could take a pic so i can where the spring tabs are, i assume its held there with tabs, right?

is the front and back held the same way? 73 challenger if there is a difference.

You can buy a $10 trim removal tool that is basically a flat piece of steel with a point on one side.  It is slid along between the glass and the trim until you get to a clip.  You then push sideways which opens up the clip releasing the trim.  There are other threads on the board with pics I believe.

i found some pics of aftermarket clips, hopefully it will become clear to me when i get at with that.
