I agree, just don't see many cars from CA where they are so rusty, it's so dry here. If it was from the coast, I would think the paint would be gone, not just the areas mentioned - just my opinion.  :2cents:

Spend a day over at Pacifica and cruise around. There are rust buckets near the beach there that make cars rusting on the east coast look like diamonds. Yes they are few and far between but like Al says, the coast can kill cars with that ocean fog super fast.

ok this car is originally from CA. don't know how long it's been east. It was suposed to be sitting in a barn for several years that leaked real bad and with windows open. Think about it. If it was a car from the rust belt, the outside and engine bay would be rusted too, I know, I live here. The body on this car is clean. Water sitting on the floors and in the frame rails is what rusted the inside, same with trunk. It's got 33k mile. Don't have to prove it and can't.  But the motor is tied up and someone started to disassemble the front of the motor. Maybe that's why the low miles. Anyway I'm gonna ask 15k for it soon.  No Mopar guy wants to sell their car but i think it's about time for this one. :(.

I think you could get close to that, especially if you can sell it to someone on the east coast (most people I know that have sold mopars for good money, all the cars went back east). Lots of pics and  :ebay: would get you the highest amount of money.

So here's some more pics that show the bad stuff, not hiding anything here. Yeah, it needs the floors and rear rails but that's the worst of it. The original front seats are toast but I have an excellent set of white 70 cuda seats f/r for it. I have the floor pan and frame rails - not aftermarket. And other stuff like steering wheel new door handles, extra dash. 15K still? We'll see what happens. http://s175.photobucket.com/albums/w160/70FJ5383E/Cuda/

So is the car all apart now or??? If it's apart, would be less money IMO. After seeing other cars people start with, this doesn't look that bad. All the parts appear to be there.

I only pulled the seats to check floors, and panel off dr door. labeled screws and in bags. That's one thing i did not want to do is take it all apart and let it sit. Pulled rear out so i could see the frame rails better and plan my attack. Attack did'nt happen.
