I never seen any short nose water pumps for a SB but think there might be such a thing. Reason is, today I got from E-bay a dual groove water pump pulley. Mines a single groove and since I no long have a AC compressor, my Alt. belt has to go under the pump.
I thought with this dual groove pulley, I could use the last groove for my Alt. The first is for my power steering pump-which maybe I should have swap over to manual steering but didn't.
Problem is the pulley is not shape like my old single groove pulley. It sticks out way too far. Only thing I can think of is maybe theres a short nose water pump for that type of pulley.
Anybody ever seen one of those pumps ?
