i wonder if they switched the "you save" with the asking price  :dunno:

Seems awfully cheap for s.steel...

Nah...these big company's sometimes have great sales.

These are outdated, if you go to like Summit racing, Eddy mufflers are called SVT...they are like Flowmasters now and can not blow out.

Bet these old style ones are better too.

Well I got 2 5501 RPM SERIES MUFFLERS for $67.55 total price.

UPS in 4 days...with the holiday I should get them late next week.

Was looking at those 304 but these were mark off more and not as loud. Reason I went with 2 1/4, I run 2 1/2 and then neck it down by the muffler and run 2 1/4 tail pipes, they fit better too over the axle than 2 1/2.

Yeah, I do my own exhaust work. Its a pain, need to run down to a shop sometimes for welding but comes out good and its how I want them. Take it to a shop and they snake the pipes all around. I like keep the pipes straight.

This has been on for awhile, the 304's are not all left.

These look like an unbeatable deal...I need a new system for a 73 Barracuda but how do I determine which of these mufflers will fit my car? It currently has 2.5" headman headers and I will buy the pipes seperately. Do I need the straight thru design or the offset thru design??? I have no idea between the RPM series or 304 series will work...Any input appreciated.
I'm not looking for loud, just a deep throaty sound...

Thanks!

I understand the 304 are loud and rpm are street legal, but some still say loud.

As for which type, a good muffler shop could make many fit, if you are doing it yourself, you need to ge under your car with a tape messure and take a good long look. Hint...the smaller ones are easier to work with and fit in but make more noise.

Me, well I am using both the rpm and 304, helps out on the noise. Which one is going first I have yet to decide. 1 is going right where the muffler always goes, next 1 is most likely going in the back before the bumper, so the 304 would look nice back there.
