440 Six Pack Emblem

My 440 Magnum hood emblems have 2 pins, they say the 440 Six Pack emblems have 3, can you just drill another hole and the other 2 will line up? or do you have to drill 2 new holes, and if so will the hole you're no longer useing show? anyone done this before?  I'm going to add the six pack on my 440  but I don't want the emblems  bad enough to repaint my hood to fill a hole .  thanks

I'm not sure about the 440 magnum emblem, but I went from a 340 4 barrel emblem to 440 six pack, and I had to drill another hole.  I could use one of the original holes, and covered up the other one as best as I could, but it's not in the correct location on the bulge.  When I get the car repainted this year I will get that squared away, though.
