Are the 440 stock HP exhaust manifolds for 1970 the same as the 69 B body ones offered by YO?
see:  http://www.yearone.com/pco/1_0907/full.asp?page=260   I don't care about the casting numbers....but is the fit the same?  how close?

If you look at the yearone picture guide for the exhaust exit, the flange on one pipe will not fit the stock e body exhaust pipe is it. It is turned on a different angle. But it will work if you make your own pipe or turn the flange and reweld on the existing e body pipe. It will fit on the engine and up into the engine bay just fine. Been there and done that :2thumbs:

I have a pair of e body big block HP manifolds, drivers side cast date of 4/71 , passengerside dated 11/70. Email me if interested. They have been sand blasted and painted. Heat cross over valve is intact and working.

I'm going with a 440 in the 70 challenger, so I need to get the exhaust castings to match the rest of the exhaust, I'm not concerned about them being "70" casting numbers

I found out the 1970 RH casting is 2899879.   (The LH casting as 2951865;  I have one of those)

The RH 2899879 is B/E for 70-71.   Books also show 3751071 correct for "B" cars for 73-74.  (no E's had 383/440s after 71) I have a 3751071.

Now the question is:  is the RH 2899879 the same as  RH 3751071?   if so....I'm set.

... or if you buy the exhaust from TTI, you can tell them what manifolds you are using and they will send the correct pipes.
