I agree. It looks like XXXX without the cover! I think the biggest reason you don't see it alot is that the originals obviously were long ago rusted out. A plastic replacement is cheap. A steel replacement costs some dough and does nothing for the car except pure cosmetics. If your rear main and/or transmission seal is leaking that badly that it fouls the clutch, you have a very serious leak. Cooling maybe, but, if it's a problem get a better clutch. The light's not going to wait for your clucth to cool!
