How good if at all are these intakes?  Anyone know the rpm range?

If I am thinking of the right intake, that is a pretty old design that is quite good actually.  Seems like they were a very good street intake and not so much a high rpm strip intake.  Also seems like they produced decent power from off idle to around 5800 or so.  I might be thinking of something else, but that seems right.....   :bigshades:   I am sure other will chime in with the exact figures and correct my old memory....lol....

The LD340 is an old design too. Made for trans am type driving where the throttle is feathered a lot. Is the LB4D a copy or updated version? :clueless:

I think LD340 has intake runners that are the size of 360 heads, and I think the LD4B has runners the size of 318 heads.

You are correct , the LD4B is one of the very few true 318 intakes with the smaller ports
