Parting 69 Dart
« on: December 11, 2007 - 06:23:31 PM »
I've got a 69 4 door dart i got from a guy it was sitting in his back yard, i was going to fix it up but when i got it it was really rusted bad both rear quarters trunk pan, both fenders and the hood were the worst, I'm going to part it out but I live 5 hours from the car so it will take time to drive down and get the stuff so i want to wait till i have enough sold so i can drive down and get the stuff all at once and it will be worth my time, Its a slant six automatic, i had the car some what running it needed a carb kit badly, i really don't know if the car would move under its own power trans fluid was clean so i'd say the trans is in good shape, drum brakes all 4 corners, 7 1\4 rear it rolled off the trailer so nothing was froze in the rear or the brakes. all glass is good same with grille and tail lights in side i'm not sure on as i didn't look it over real good i'm having my brother take pictures of it and what not. I don't want to ship any of the big items (grill windows ect.) let me know what you need and i'll see what i can do. I'd also sell the whole car for the right price too. its in southern iowa email is zamason2@hotmail.com

I've sold the grille with the headlight bezels, taillights, maybe the center section of the steering wheel and maybe the hood but the guy hasn't said anything...I guess the hood and the deck lid just have surface rust so the hoods better than i thought.  Oh and the trim that says dodge across the decklid might be gone also.

I am in serious need of a complete dash assembly with wiring that isnt hacked up, im not concerned about the pad.

I also am looking for headlight bezels but i see they may be taken....

Hey, I'm really not wanting to ship the dash as its really long and will be a pain to ship, but i might if it comes down to it, let me think it over...the other problem is that i have to remove the windshield which wouldn't be a problem but its below freezing out the car is 5 miles from my fathers place and they have 2inches of ice.......so it could be awhile before we can make it down to pull anything major, smaller stuff isn't as big of a problem if the roads are good....I'll let you know how it comes along it might have to wait till around christmas time to where i can pull it out of the field. i'll let you know.  Fenders are junk they have rust in the top and the bottom.

ok thanks, let me know. i have found that the US postal service is the cheapest way to ship and they will do freight. i understand where you are coming from, so no hard feelings if you dont choose to do it. i am looking into a parts car here as well. please keep me posted though!
