What service manual should I get to rebuild my 833OD? I am not sure what year tranny it is? Is it important for the exact year or are all the 833OD the same?

basically any service manual 75 -90 should cover the OD, trucks used the OD mostly although the F bodys had the short A body OD
the OD is a bit quircky to assemble compared to the regualr 833 but all ods assemble the same way

Yes as long as it is a complete manual or has all the suppliment sections or at least covers the tranny section in the main manual
