Console bracket for a four speed
« on: December 18, 2007 - 08:01:10 AM »
I need the front bracket that holds the console on a four speed. This is for a 70 Challenger, I believe that it is the same from any e-body.
If any one has a link to a new repop please let me know. I was told they are repoped but can't find any.

He said he'd locate the name a couple of weeks ago but haven't heard from him yet.

I'd be inclined to fab your own, did mine with a pce of .060 galvanized mtl, a couple nut sert type threaded inserts and pop riveted it to the trans hump. Make a template from card stock first.........

For whatever its worth; I bought one from HARMS - had to massage the two screw mounting slots, they were cut too wide and were not sized for the screw thread pitch.  Other than that, it looked and fit nice.
