Rear window defroster in a VERT?

I was watching a Challenger Vert on Ebay that sold today that stated "the car came with power top power, front disc brakes ,a glass back window with defogger".    When I bought my vert, it came with many parts in a box, one being a rusty rear window defroster motor, hose, vent and fan assembly that would normally mount where the 6x9 rear speaker would mount. I was about to sell it on ebay.  I saw this guys auction and started wondering if mine should be installed somewhere.   Was this guy on drugs?

Shelbydogg, Here is a link to the 1971 Challenger standard and option equipment on Barry's website.  It says the rear defogger was not available on the vert.
