need shifter rod for 727(under the car piece)

I ended up with 2 extras, I only needed the slapsticks, so the rod is yours for the shipping.
 I also had the clips & that spring, so they are all enclosed.
update:
K, the rod has gone postal, 2.19 for the packing tube & 4.60 for shipping, they say you'll have it in 4 to 6 days, the priority was 20 bucks so I passed on that, hope thats what you would have said to do, anyway the grand total is 6.79.  Rich.

This approx 12" long rod attaches directly to the gear selector lever on the side of the transmission. It has one end turned down that fits inside this lever, and the other end is just round and it goes through a swiveling box that is attached to the down rod coming through the tunnel from the shifter.

I think I'm holding one in my hand. I am in my shop working late on my car. But I will take this piece inside tonight and snap a picture for you. It measures 13.5 inches though. It has a square box with a slide on one end and it has a bolt that tighens up the square slider. The otherside has a turn down with a hole in the end and a clip that goes through it. Sound right? The slide is so you can adjust the shift selector for the corect positions on the floor shift.   I will take a pic tomorrow for you.

Thanks Al for comming to the rescue, that sounds like the one he needs, I misread it & sent out the rod that goes from actual shifter mech. in the car, don't have the lower one!  Rich.

I did a poor job describing the rod. Period. I really appreciated Rustycudy rushing that rod to me. I was excited and they are very similar. It could be made to work, but the right one would be much easier. Please let me know where you are and how I can get it.
