How hard are they to find?
« on: December 26, 2007 - 06:21:45 PM »
I looked at 70 Barracuda, and it is missing the header panel, because the guy took it off the coupe and put on his conv her aquired? Are these hard to find pieces? Just want to know, how much I should ask off his price since the car is missing a few body parts that he put on his conv.

 :clueless:

I got lucky and bought one off e-bay for $152.00.  But i have seen people ask as much as $500 for a 70 header panel as they are a one year only piece. :faint:

Just about every month I find atleast 2 for the 70 models on ebay. I'm a scavenger, so I do intense looking. The price seems to run around 150/300 on a given. But the conditions very .  You take what you can find for the most part. I saw one yesterday on ebay. It was in Oklahoma :2thumbs:

I sold one on ebay a couple years ago for $325.00 on ebay. It is a hit and a miss as they can bring lots less depending on who is looking and buying. I think you can get one for under $200.00 but you will have to keep watching and bidding unless someone on here has one to sell.

I saw the one on ebay for $150, but it looked like it was stright bondo accross the top. I feared it was rusted through and they caked bondo to make it work, and that is why the guy is selling it.
