    Good points. Guess a thick plastic would be better, like plxyglass-not spelled right. You could paint it too but it cost more I would think

    The metal still could rust more easy.

    Is there any particular reason not to install it where the old ECU went? Looks like there's plenty of room. I figure I can fashion a simple bracket in order to reuse the old ECU mounting holes.

    Is heat the only issue?
